We’ve Been Quiet… But Not Still!
Though things may have seemed quiet on the outside, behind the scenes we’ve been incredibly busy—and we’re thrilled to finally share some exciting updates with you! There’s so much to celebrate this month, so make sure you read all the way to the end to catch every bit of good news!

Clean Water Project
We are beyond excited to share that the water project is going so well! The early days were definitely a challenge—figuring out systems and routines, troubleshooting issues with the machine, and dealing with a lot of trial and error. But praise God, we’ve found our rhythm!
One of the biggest hurdles was dealing with machine malfunctions that caused leaks in the water bags or produced bags that were way too big—or way too small. After many repairs and fine-tuning, the machine is now running smoothly. What a relief after such a stressful start!
And here’s the best part: the water project is now officially self-sustainable! We honestly didn’t expect to reach this point so quickly, but in just under three months, it’s already covering all of its own operating costs—even while selling the water at a reduced price to ensure it’s accessible to the community. God has been so faithful, and we are so thankful!

Bible Stories with the Kids
Over the past few weeks, I’ve started doing a short Bible story and coloring activity with the kids at our property after lunchtime each Wednesday. It’s been such a joy to add something new and meaningful to their routine and to have this opportunity to share God’s Word with them.
Many of the kids have heard these stories before, but I’m praying that they’ll hear them in a new way this time—that the truths will take root in their hearts and transform their lives. Please join us in praying for open hearts and minds, both in the children and their parents.

Property Update
As some of you may remember, we’ve been serving food at our property every Wednesday for the past couple of months. But it hasn’t been easy—each week we’ve had to haul tables, stools, food, dishes, and more back and forth, creating a lot of logistical headaches and confusion about where meals would be served.
But we’re thrilled to say: that chapter is officially closed! Yesterday marked our last meal served on the street. Starting this week, we’ll begin transitioning our kitchen to our own property, and soon we’ll be preparing and serving food on-sitethree days a week! We’re so excited to finally be using the space God provided us nearly a year ago, and we can’t wait to see how this next phase unfolds.
The reasons we’re able to make the move is because of the incredible progress on the building! The transformation over the past few months has been nothing short of amazing—it’s hardly recognizable!
The team has been hard at work these past few weeks, tackling a long list of construction projects. They’ve been finishing up the walls, welding and installing window bars, digging holes, mixing concrete, and building thick concrete pillars for our brand-new front gate—set to be installed later this week!
One project that, thankfully, went more smoothly than expected was coordinating with the electric company. We needed to have a utility pole relocated that was blocking our property entrance. Since we’re expanding the entryway to accommodate a larger gate, moving the pole was essential—and we’re grateful it all went off without a hitch!
Once the kitchen is fully moved into its new home, we’ll begin using the remaining funds to start constructing the rest of the ministry center. Please join us in praying for continued financial provision so that we can move forward without delays. We’re trusting God every step of the way!

Personal Update
There’s not much to report on the personal front—most of our energy has been poured into all the exciting changes happening in the ministry. We are doing our best to stay grounded and connected, even carving out a little time each week for a quick date or intentional time together.
Please continue praying for strength, energy, and renewal as we navigate this busy (but beautiful!) season. And please also join us in praying for more people called by God to join us in Aliento. We could really use a bigger team to help us carry the load of this growing ministry.
Thank you so much for standing with us in prayer and support. We truly couldn’t do this without you! Please continue to lift us up in prayer as we also lift you all up in prayer!
